Title:
GAS DECOMPOSITION DEVICE AND GAS DECOMPOSITION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/029219
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a gas decomposition device with which greenhouse gasses can be efficiently decomposed using a simpler structure. This gas decomposition device comprises: piping that channels gas being treated, which contains oxygen and dinitrogen monoxide; a first light source that irradiates the interior of the piping with first light in which the main light emission wavelength belongs within the range of 160 nm or greater to less than 200 nm; and a second light source that irradiates the interior of the piping with second light in which the main light emission wavelength belongs within the range of 200 nm or greater to less than 411 nm. The first and second light sources are disposed such that at least some of the second light overlaps at least some of the first light to decompose the dinitrogen monoxide.
