Abstract:
A gas-fired water heater comprises a housing (1), and a fan (2), a water circuit system, a combustion system and a controller (8) connected to the housing (1). The combustion system comprises a combustion chamber (31) disposed inside the housing (1), a water-cooled burner (32) disposed in the combustion chamber (31), and an exhaust channel (33) in communication with the top of the combustion chamber (31). The fan (2) is disposed below the combustion chamber (31). The water-cooled burner (32) is in communication with a gas channel (5) of the gas-fired water heater. The gas channel (5) is provided with a gas proportional valve (51). The water circuit system comprises a water inlet pipe (41), a water outlet pipe (42), and a heat exchanger (43) in communication with the water inlet pipe (41) and the water outlet pipe (42). The heat exchanger (43) is disposed above the combustion chamber (31). The controller (8) is electrically connected to the gas proportional valve (51) and the fan (2) separately. A primary air coefficient of the water-cooled burner (32) ranges from 1.6 to 1.8. A gas-fired water heater combustion control method is also disclosed. The invention effectively suppresses generation of NOx, greatly reduces harmful gas emissions from gas-fired water heaters, and makes gas-fired water heaters be more environmentally friendly.
