Abstract:
Provided are: a gas separation membrane having excellent gas permeability and capable of sustainably expressing desired gas separation selectivity even when contacting a plasticizing component such as toluene; a gas separation module using the gas separation membrane; a gas separation device; and a gas separation method. Also provided is a polyimide compound suitable as a constituent material of the separation membrane. The gas separation membrane has a gas separation layer containing a polyimide compound having a pentafluorosulfanyl group as a constituent material, the gas separation module and the gas separation device are each provided with the gas separation membrane, and the gas separation method uses the gas separation membrane. The polyimide compound is a compound suitable for the gas separation membrane.
