Abstract:
A gas turbine engine provided with: an exhaust diffuser (11) which includes an annular exhaust passageway (17) formed between an inner tube (15) and an outer tube (17); a bearing compartment (23) which is formed radially inside the inner tube (15) and contains a bearing (19) supporting a rotor (9) of a turbine (7); a plurality of hollow struts (21) which intersect the exhaust passageway (17); an oil guiding passageway (33) which extends through the inside of the struts (21), and introduces oil supplied to the bearing compartment (23); and an oil discharge passageway (41) which extends through the inside of the struts (21) and discharges oil via an oil discharge entry (41a) opened in a bottom surface of the bearing compartment (23). Some of the oil that has passed through the oil guiding passageway (33) is ejected toward the oil discharge entry (41a) via an ejection oil passageway (51).
