Abstract:
A gaze point detection device 30 comprises: a face detection means 31 which detects a subject's face portion from a first image and first depth information; a line-of-sight direction estimation means 32 which estimates the direction of the line of sight of the subject using the face portion detected by the face detection means 31; a position information estimation means 33 which estimates the three-dimensional spatial positions of the pupils of the subject and the three-dimensional spatial positions of a first image capture unit and a second image capture unit on the basis of the first image, the first depth information, a second image, and second depth information; and a gaze point identification means 34 which identifies the gaze point of the subject on the basis of the three-dimensional spatial positions of the pupils of the subject and the direction of the line of sight of the subject.
