Abstract:
A gear mechanism 10 according to the present disclosure comprises multiple resin gears containing a thermoplastic resin. Each of the multiple gears has: a water absorption rate at 23°C in a range from 0.01% to 0.2%; a module in a range from 0.5 to 25; a pitch diameter in a range from 1.5 mm to 3,200 mm; and a backlash fluctuation coefficient between one gear and another gear of the multiple gears of 0.3 or less when the environment changes from a 23°C in-atmosphere environment to a 150°C in-water environment.
