A gear shift knob, which belongs to the technical field of gear shift knobs, and solves the problem that an existing gear shift knob is irrational in structural design, thereby affecting the stability of a connection between a gear shift knob and a gear shift lever, and affecting the controllability of a vehicle. The present gear shift knob comprises a knob body (1), a gear shift lever (2) and a key (3), wherein a transmission framework (4) linked with the key (3) is mounted in the knob body (1); the gear shift lever (2) is provided with a lower limiting sleeve (11); the portion, which is located at the top of the lower limiting sleeve (11), of the gear shift lever (2) is provided with an upper limiting sleeve (12) used for fixing and limiting the lower limiting sleeve (11); the gear shift lever (2) is also in threaded connection with a locking sleeve (13) used for limiting the upper limiting sleeve (12); and the upper limiting sleeve (12) is fixed to the lower limiting sleeve (11) by means of several shock absorbing mechanisms having a shock absorbing function. The present gear shift knob has the advantages of improving the stability of the connection between the gear shift knob and the gear shift lever, and improving the controllability of the vehicle.
