Abstract:

Provided is a geared motor drive control mechanism capable of performing the operations of performing a stopping operation between a start point and an end point of a drive range, maintaining the stopping operation, and starting from the stop state, smoothly and reliably without providing an external force other than the drive input of an electric motor. A geared motor 1 drive control mechanism of the present invention is provided with: a geared motor 1 formed by integrating an electric motor 2 with a speed-change unit 3 having a drive shaft 21 of the electric motor 2 as an input shaft; and brake means 4, 14 for controlling braking in each of drive and stop states of an output shaft 32 of the speed-change unit 3. The brake means 4, 14 comprise: rotating portions 40, 140 rotatably journaled on the drive shaft 21 of the electric motor 2 and having annularly disposed permanent magnets 43, 143; and fixed portions 41, 141 which are fixed onto a case 20 of the electric motor 2, are disposed opposing each other so as to have different polarities in the stop state relative to the permanent magnets 43, 143 of the rotating portions 40, 140, and have annularly disposed permanent magnets 45, 146.
