Abstract:
A gesture recognition method, a control method and apparatus, and a wrist-type device. The gesture recognition method comprises: obtaining an image of a hand (S1); recognizing specific areas of the hand in the image of the hand (S2); monitoring positions of the recognized specific areas of the hand, and determining that portions corresponding to at least two specific areas of the hand are in contact with each other when a distance between the at least two specific areas of the hand is less than a preset threshold (S3).
