Abstract:
This glass article production device includes: a forming body for forming a glass ribbon from molten glass by the down-draw method; and a cooling roller that contacts the glass ribbon over the entire width thereof. The cooling roller comprises: an outer tube, an outer surface of which contacts the glass ribbon; an inner tube disposed inside the outer tube; a supply flow path which is for a refrigerant and which is formed by an inner surface of the inner tube; and a cooling flow path through which flows the refrigerant supplied from the supply flow path. The cooling flow path is formed between the inner surface of the outer tube and the outer surface of the inner tube.
