Abstract:
This glass plate G production method comprises: a positioning step of bringing an edge portion Ga of a glass plate G into contact with a positioning region 6a of a belt 6 and thereby performing the positioning of the glass plate G; and a processing step of performing predetermined processing on edge portions Ga, Gb of the glass plate G which has undergone the positioning step and has been transported in a straight line. A deviation in the positioning of the glass plate G in the positioning step is corrected by adjusting at least the angle of the positioning region 6a relative to the transport direction X.
