Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a glass substrate for displays, which is not susceptible to the occurrence of peeling electrification when separated from a suction stage; and a method for producing this glass substrate for displays. A glass substrate for displays according to the present invention has a first surface and a second surface that is on the reverse side of the first surface. The first surface has a plurality of open holes; the average opening area of the holes is 1.70 × 104 nm2 or less; and the total opening area of the holes is 6.00 × 106 nm2/25 μm2 or more.
