Abstract:
A global disparity estimation method and system. The method comprises: when an image is divided into blocks, dividing the original image into several image blocks, then merging the image blocks according to the colour, and then merging the image blocks according to the disparity; thus, not only colour information is utilized to divide the image into blocks, but also disparity information is introduced, so that the calculation accuracy of the final disparity can be better guaranteed.
