Abstract:
The present invention provides a golf cart following method and apparatus, and a storage medium. The method comprises: in response to starting following, judging whether a visual tracking lens has recognized a following target and whether a visual distance is within a preset distance threshold; if so, starting a visual following mode, and controlling the motion of the cart according to a preset visual following policy; if not, starting a UWB following mode, and controlling the motion of the cart according to a preset UWB following policy; when the cart is in the visual following mode, if it is judged that the visual distance is greater than the preset distance threshold or that the recognition effect of the visual tracking lens is poor, then switching to the UWB following mode; and when the cart is in the UWB following mode, if it is judged that the distance between the visual tracking lens and the following target is within the preset distance threshold value and the visual tracking lens recognizes the following target, then switching to the visual following mode. The use of the above technical solution allows for a cart to achieve stable and continuous following of a target within a limited space.
