Abstract:
A goods inventory method and system, applied to a self-service vending cabinet. N compartments (10) are disposed in the self-service vending cabinet. The method comprises: disposing an independent RFID reader (20, 430) in each compartment (10); At a first activation time, activating one of the RFID readers (20, 430) to scan an RFID tag (100); at the second activation time, activating another RFID reader (20, 430) to scan an RFID tag (200); and repeating the above operation until the N
th activation time arrives, and activating the last RFID reader (20, 430) to scan an RFID tag (300), wherein the first to N
th activation time are each a time within an inventory time period, and an interval between adjacent activation times is random. The independent reader (20, 430) disposed in each compartment (10) completes inventory work of all goods on the basis of RFID technology. The inventory method eliminates the need for manual operation of portable readers, resulting in fully automated operation. Inventory of goods and data uploading are completed at a specified time by means of remote control.
