Abstract:
The present invention improves ball flight performance when a ball is hit by a racket and attains a preferable ball-hitting feel. Grommets (25-28) are configured to be provided with cylindrical parts (32) which are fitted in and pass through through-holes (23) formed in the frame (20) of a racket (10) and through which a string (21) passes. When being tensioned on the frame, the string is folded back at a fold-back position (F) located at a one-end-side of each of the cylindrical parts. The cylindrical parts are each provided with: a first forming portion (35) that is positioned on the fold-back position side with respect to the central axis position (Cb) of the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical part; and a second forming portion (36) that is positioned on the side opposite to the first forming portion across the central axis position. The first forming portion is formed to have a greater thickness in the radial direction of the cylindrical part than the second forming portion.
