Abstract:

A ground contact load control device for vehicle, comprising right and left side front and rear load sharing means (11, 12, 13, 14) for sharing ground contact loads on right and left side front and rear wheels, load changing means capable of changing, by operation, the ground contact loads shared by these load sharing means, vehicle state detection means (sensors) for detecting vehicle states, and a control means (electric control unit ECU) for controlling the operation of the load changing means according to detected signals from the vehicle state detection means, wherein the load changing means (50, 60) allow an operation to change the ground contact loads on either one set of the diagonal wheels and the ground contact loads on the other set of the diagonal wheels in increasing and decreasing directions opposite to each other and to change the ground contact loads on each set of the diagonal wheels in the same increasing and decreasing directions.
