Abstract:
A guide device (11) is used in combination with a winder (1) for winding a fiber bundle (F) such as a bundle of carbon fibers around a bobbin (9). The winder (1) comprises a pressure roller (RP) for pressing the bundle (F) against the bobbin (9). The guide device (11) comprises a guide stand (15) which performs a traverse motion parallel to the bobbin (9), guide rollers (RG1, RG2) which are supported at right angles to the direction of the traverse motion by the guide stand (15), and first and second feed rollers (RF1, RF2) which are supported parallel to the direction of the traverse motion by the guide stand (15). The second feed roller (RF2) can move between a first position close to the pressure roller (RP) and a second position distant from the pressure roller (RP). Work for introducing the bundle (F) into the guide device (11) in order to wind the bundle (F) around the bobbin (9) is facilitated.
