Provided is a guiding device with which interference of rolling elements with running grooves during assembly of the guiding device can be prevented and assembly work can be performed easily, even when surface treatment such as electroplating is performed on constituent components of the guiding device and a gap between a first member and a second member is minimized.　The guiding device comprises a first member in which an accommodating groove is formed and a second member incorporated to be able to move along the accommodating groove, the first member and the second member are incorporated via a plurality of rolling elements, the accommodating groove has a pair of side wall surfaces that face each other and a bottom surface that links the ends of the side wall surfaces together, first running grooves through which the plurality of rolling elements can run are formed in the side wall surfaces, second running grooves corresponding to the first running grooves are formed in the surfaces of the second member that face the side wall surfaces, and insertion-facilitating parts are continuously formed in the longitudinal-direction ends of the first running grooves and/or the second running grooves.
