Technical Field

[1] The present invention relates to a hair cap, and more particularly, to a hair cap in which a waterproof layer is formed at the inner side of an outer covering and a mesh is installed on the top surface of the waterproof layer to facilitate replacement of a treatment cream pad, thereby allowing a user wearing the hair cap on his or her head to protect and nurture the hair while enjoying a sauna. [2] Typically, for a permanent, a hair perm agent is applied to hair that has been shampooed, and then the hair is wound around perm rods. Then, after the lapse of about 30 - 40 minutes, the hair perm agent is applied to the hair again and about 30 minutes must elapse to complete the permanent. Such a process is time-consuming and may result in perm curls having different forms according to time and temperature. Moreover, severe damage may be caused to hair to which the perm agent is applied for a long time. For hair treatment, treatment cream is usually heated in elementary ways such as using a hot towel or a disposable vinyl cap in order to sufficiently soak in the hair for a desired effect or may not be heated at all, resulting in a failure to achieve a sufficient effect.

[3] To solve such problems, a treatment promoting hair device having a heating wire mounted therein and a temperature controller mounted at the outside thereof for controlling the temperature of the heating wire in an outer covering thereof has been developed and used in beauty salons, etc.

[4] However, the hair device can be used only in beauty salons and is not easy for common users to handle. Furthermore, the hair device is not affordable for common users as being expensive and has frequent small troubles.

[5] The present inventor is granted Korean Patent No. 530807, entitled "Hair Cap" which has overcome the problems by the Korean Intellectual Property Office, and produces and sells the hair cap products.

[6] Hereinafter, the hair cap will be described with reference to FIG. 1.

[7] A first pocket 11 is formed on the middle inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical cap body 10 and a second pocket 12 is formed at a lower circumferential rim 11a below the first pocket 11.

[8] An elastic member 20 is sewn to an upper circumferential rim 1 Ib of the cap body

10 as one piece, and a head tightening band 30 is installed inside the second pocket 12.

[9] An elastic band 13 for preventing hair around a user's forehead from protruding is

installed in the proximity of the upper circumferential rim 1 Ib in which the elastic member 20 is installed.

[10] A pad 40 having treatment cream 41 filled therein or applied thereto is inserted into the first pocket 11.

[11] The hair cap 1 made of nonwoven fabric is generally known as a disposable one although it can be reused after being washed. Since the treatment cream 41 is for onetime use only and thus will be exhausted after being used once, a user may suffer from a cumbersome process of additionally filling or applying the treatment cream 41 to reuse the hair cap 1.

[12] As a result, the hair cap 1 is usually recognized as being disposable, resulting in a waste of money. Moreover, the treatment cream 41 leaks out due to a sewing line around an inner waterproof layer.

[13] Furthermore, it is difficult to insert the refill pad 40 or patch having the treatment cream 41 applied thereto into the first pocket 11 due to the round shape of the hair cap 1.

[14] To solve those problems, the present inventor has developed a hair cap which can be spread in a band shape in order to facilitate replacement of a pad or patch having treatment cream applied thereto and can be used semi-permanently, thereby removing conventional recognition as a disposable one. Technical Problem

[15] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems occurring in the prior art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a hair cap having a waterproof layer formed at the inner side of an outer covering thereof to prevent treatment cream applied to a pad from leaking out, thereby allowing the treatment cream to naturally dissolve and soak only in hair by indoor high temperature when a user wearing the hair cap on the head is in a sauna room or a sweating bathroom of a bathhouse, so that the user can enjoy a sauna while nurturing the hair with the treatment cream.

[16] Another object of the present invention is to provide a hair cap having an outer covering that has a waterproof layer and takes a horizontally long band shape, in which an upper portion of a mesh is sewn to the inner side of the outer covering of the hair cap and a lower portion of the mesh can be easily attached to or detached from the outer covering of the hair cap using an attachment/detachment means, thereby facilitating replacement of a pad or patch having treatment cream applied thereto.

[17] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a hair cap having a plurality of pockets formed between a waterproof layer and an outer covering of the

hair cap, in which pads with various aroma perfume can be inserted into the pockets to allow the aroma perfume to be absorbed into a user's body, thereby relieving user's physical/mental fatigue and stress and thus contributing to the prevention of adult diseases. [18] Still another object of the present invention is to provide a hair cap having a plurality of pockets formed between a waterproof layer and an outer covering of the hair cap, in which a disposable heating hot pack can be inserted into the pockets for use in daily life such as use in a house or during a trip. [19] Further object of the present invention is to provide a hair cap having a plurality of pockets formed between a waterproof layer and an outer covering of the hair cap, in which a far infrared material can be inserted into the pockets to allow a far infrared ray to permeate into a user's head during a sauna. [20] Still further object of the present invention is to provide a hair cap that can be used in various places such as hot springs, resorts, bathing places, and the like as well as sauna rooms and sweating rooms and can also be used for various purposes like as a skin massage cap or a swimming cap after being washed. [21] The above and other objects can be achieved by the present invention described below.

Technical Solution [22] To achieve the above object, according to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a hair cap (1) including: [23] an outer covering (100) formed in a horizontally long band shape, the outer covering being sewn to an elastic member (20) at an upper circumferential rim thereof as one piece and being installed at a lower portion thereof with a head tightening band

(30); [24] a waterproof layer (110) formed at the inner side of the outer covering (100) so that a plurality of pockets (111) are formed between the waterproof layer and the outer covering at equal intervals by means of sewing; [25] a mesh (120) adapted to be at an upper end thereof sewn to an upper portion of the waterproof layer (110) as one piece and adapted to be freely detachable at a lower end thereof by means of an attachment/detachment means (200); [26] a fastening means (300) installed at both sides of the outer covering (100) in order to make the hair cap (1) rounded; and [27] a treatment cream pad (130) interposed between the mesh (120) and the waterproof layer (110).

[28] The outer covering (100) contains a far infrared material.

[29] An aroma perfumed pad (131) and a disposable heating hot pack are inserted into

the pockets 111. [30] According to another aspect of the present invention, there is also provided a hair cap (1) including: [31] an outer covering (100) formed in a horizontally long band shape, the outer covering being is sewn to an elastic member (20) at an upper circumferential rim thereof as one piece, being installed at a lower portion thereof with a head tightening band (30), and being formed therein with a waterproof layer (110); [32] a mesh (120) adapted to be at an upper end thereof sewn to an upper portion of the inner side of the outer covering (100) as one piece and adapted to be freely detachable at a lower end thereof by means of an attachment/detachment means (200); [33] a fastening means (300) installed at both sides of the outer covering (100) in order to make the hair cap (1) rounded; and [34] a treatment cream pad (130) interposed between the mesh (120) and the waterproof layer (110). [35] The fastening means (300) is a zipper (310) or a Velcro (320)

[41] To achieve the above and other objects, the present invention will be described in detail. [42] FIG. 2 is a perspective view partially cutting a hair cap (1) according to the present invention, and FIG. 3 illustrates the spread state of the hair cap 1 according to the present invention. [43] In the following description, names and shapes that are the same as those in the prior art will be referred to as reference numerals that are the same as those in the prior art and will not be described in detail. [44] As shown in FIG. 3, in the hair cap 1 according to the present invention, an outer covering 100 is formed in a horizontally long rectangular shape, an elastic member 20 is sewn to an upper circumferential rim of the outer covering 100 as one piece in order to elastically surround user's face and jaw when the hair cap 1 is worn on a user's head,

and a head tightening band 30 that is adjustable to fit a user's head size is installed in a lower circumferential rim 12 having a space.

[45] The elastic member 20 may be pleated suitable for its elastic force or a user's face size. Alternatively, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the elastic member 20 may be inserted through the upper circumferential rim such that the elastic member 20 is sewn with a fabric at one end thereof to be fixed and is adjusted by a stepper 21 in the other end thereof.

[46] The outer covering 100 may be made by processing nano particles of far infrared materials such as yellow ocher, jade, charcoal, or tourmaline in the form of a capsule and adding the capsule to a fabric during weaving or using a precipitation method or an application device after weaving. Alternatively, the outer covering 100 may be made of a nano-silver processed fabric having effects such as an antifungal effect, de- odorization, sweat absorption, and quick dry. The material of the outer covering 100 may be changed easily by those of ordinary skill in the art.

[47] When a waterproof layer 110 is sewn to the inner side of the outer covering 100 based on calculation of the length and width of the outer covering 100, its lower portion is opened at equal intervals without being sewn, so as to form a number of pockets 111 at equal intervals.

[48] In order to prevent a pad inserted into the pocket 11 from slipping out through the lower opening of the pocket 11, a Velcro (not shown) may be installed in a protrusion portion 112 for attachment/detachment as shown in an enlargement in FIG. 2 or the head tightening band 30 may be strongly tightened.

[49] Although the waterproof layer 110 is separately formed at the inner side of the outer covering 100 in the above description, it may also be applied directly to the outer covering 100.

[50] A receiving space is formed by sewing a mesh 120 on the top surface of the waterproof layer 110 at upper end portions of the mesh 120 and the waterproof layer 110.

[51] As shown in FIG. 2 or 3, an attachment/detachment means 200 is provided at lower end portions of the mesh 120 and the waterproof layer 110 so as to allow the mesh 120 to be easily attached to/detached from the waterproof layer 110.

[52] As shown in the enlargement in FIG. 2, the attachment/detachment unit 200 includes a female Velcro 210 and a male Velcro 220 (product names). However, if necessary, a general button or a so-called press button may also be used as the attachment/detachment unit 200.

[53] An engagement unit 300 such as a zipper or a Velcro is installed in both ends of the outer covering 100, so as to allow the hair cap 1 to maintain a round shape when the hair cap 1 is worn on the user's head.

[54] A treatment cream pad 130 of a horizontally long shape is interposed between the mesh 120 and the waterproof layer 110, so as to dissolve at specific temperature and soak in user's hair.

[55] The user may easily distinguish the front and back faces of the hair cap 1 from each other by marking the center of the outer covering 100 with accessories and wrinkle design.

[56] An aroma perfumed pad (or patch) 131 is inserted into the pocket 111 formed in the waterproof layer 110. For an aromatherapy extract, the aroma perfumed pad 131 uses perfume extracted from peppermint, rosemary, eucalyptus, chamomile, and the like. The aroma perfume can be easily implemented by those of ordinary skill in the art.

[57] For example, for aromatherapy for neuropsychatric concerns such as melancholy, sleeplessness, neurasthenia, uneasiness, migraine, autism, and the like, the aroma perfumed pad 131 uses perfume extracted from basil, benzoin, bergamot, clove bud, cypress, eucalyptus, frankincense, grapefruit, jasmine, clary sage, chamomile, beranium, vetiver, juniper berry, lavender, marjoram, lemon, rose, rosemary, rosewood, menolly, orange sweet, palmarosa, peppermint, pine, sandalwood, ylangylang, or the like.

[58] For aromatherapy for respiratory concerns such as bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia, allergic coryza, cold, ozena, and the like, the aroma perfumed pad 131 uses perfume extracted from basil, bergamot, cedarwood, eucalyptus, chamomile, cypress, grapefruit, lavender, peppermint, marjoram, pine, black pepper, thyme, frankincense, lemon, and the like.

[59] For aromatherapy for circulatory concerns such as anemia, arteriosclerosis, varices, hemorrhoids, hypertension, a cardiac disorder, hypotension, edemas, angina, fluid retention, and the like, the aroma perfumed pad 131 uses perfume extracted from basil, benzoin, bergamot, black pepper, clary sage, cypress, lavender, geranium, grapefruit, jasmine, marjoram, juniper berry, chamomile, giger, rose, rosemary, peppermint, thyme, lemon, hyssop, eucalyptus, neroli, patchouli, ylangylang, or the like.

[60] For aromatherapy for digestive concerns such as indigestion, constipation, nausea, a duodenal ulcer, a gastric ulcer, ulcerative colitis, cholecyst, or the like, the aroma perfumed pad 131 uses perfume extracted from peppermint, lemon, lavender, caraway, ginger, tea tree, juniper berry, rose, rosemary, chamomile, marjoram, orange, coriander, sandalwood, geranium, ratigrain, myrrh, or the like.

[61] Thus, the user inserts the favorite aroma perfumed pad 131 into the pocket 111 formed in the waterproof layer 110, then inserts the treatment cream pad 130 between the waterproof layer 110 and the mesh 120, fixes the mesh 120 using the attachment/ detachment means 200, and makes the hair cap 1 rounded using the fastening means 300 installed in both ends of the outer covering 100 to wear the hair cap 1 on the head.

[62] After wearing the hair cap 1 in a manner that one side of the hair cap 1 in which the elastic member 20 is formed is rested under the jaw and the other side is directed towards the forehead, the user tightens the hair cap 1 using the head tightening band

[63] In this state, the user takes a hot bath in a sauna room or a sweating bathroom.

[64] The treatment cream pad 130 between the waterproof layer 110 and the mesh 120 slowly dissolves and then soaks in the hair by hot air. [65] Thus, the hair is moisturized and becomes more elastic by sufficiently absorbing treatment cream. [66] The aroma perfume of the aroma perfumed pad 131 inserted into the pocket 111 formed in the waterproof layer 110 fills the room, thereby refreshing the stuffy air of the room and relieving the user's physical/mental fatigue. [67] The user may also use the hair cap 1 in the house during daily routine by inserting a disposable heating hot pack into the pocket 111 formed in the waterproof layer 110.

Industrial Applicability [68] As set forth above, according to the present invention, treatment cream inserted into the hair cap can soak in user's hair during a user's sauna, thereby nurturing the damaged hair. [69]
