Abstract:
A hair iron (1) has a first clamp (2b) having a first hair clamping surface (22a), and a second clamp (3b) having a second hair clamping surface (32a). Hair is sandwiched between the first hair clamping surface (22a) and the second hair clamping surface (32a). A heater (23) is disposed on at least the first clamp (2b), and an air blower (50) is disposed on the rear side of the first hair clamping surface (22a) in the first clamp (2b). In addition, a sensor (73) is provided, and when the sensor (73) detects that the temperature of the heaters (23, 33) is greater than or equal to a predetermined temperature, a controller (6) activates the air blower (50).
