Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a hair model rendering method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring hair data of a hair model and storing same in a video memory of a graphics processing unit (GPU); configuring a stream processor unit for a hairline data group in the hair data; by means of threads in the stream processor unit, loading current hairline node data to be processed and associated hairline node data in corresponding hairline data to a register; determining a parameter node position solving algorithm group corresponding to the hairline node data to be processed, performing position solving by means of a current node position solving algorithm and a corresponding parameter node, and when the current node position solving algorithm completes position solving according to the current parameter node, if the current parameter node does not belong to parameter nodes of other node position algorithms and/or node position solution algorithm groups corresponding to other pieces of hairline node data in the hairline data, saving the hairline node data corresponding to the current parameter node to the video memory. The present disclosure can reduce the video memory reading/writing overhead of the GPU in the hair rendering process.
