Abstract:
A hair straightener (1), comprising a holding portion (11) and two clamping assemblies (12) connected to the holding portion (11), wherein the two clamping assemblies (12) have working surfaces arranged facing each other; one of the clamping assemblies (12) is provided, at the end close to the holding portion (11), with a stopper (122) extending to the other clamping assembly (12), and a slot (123) adapted to the stopper (122) is provided in the other clamping assembly (12) and at a position corresponding to the stopper (122); at least one of the clamping assemblies (12) is provided with a boss (121) extending toward the other clamping assembly (12), the boss (121) being arranged between the stopper (122) and the holding portion (11); and when the two clamping assemblies (12) are closed, the boss (121) allows a gap to remain between the two clamping assemblies (12). The boss (121) is provided to leave a gap when the two clamping assemblies (12) are closed, so as to reduce the clamping force on strands of hair to prevent the hair from being excessively clamped or even scalded. Before the boss (121) takes effect, the stopper (122) first comes into contact with the other clamping assembly (12) and is accommodated in the slot (123), so as to prevent the hair from entering the region where the boss (121) is located to prevent the hair from being clamped by the boss (121) or even damaging hair follicles or the scalp during pulling.
