Abstract:
Disclosed are a halogen-free, flame-retardant PET composite material for use in a transparent film and a preparation method. The halogen-free, flame-retardant PET composite material comprises the following formula composition in terms of weight percentage: a PET resin 75-85%; an organic flame retardant 10-20%; a heat stabilizer 0.1-0.4%; a glass fiber 0.7-1.5%; nano-montmorillonite 1.5-3%; antimony trioxide 2-4%; an antioxidant 0.1-0.4%; a compatibilizer 0.5-1.5%; and a dispersant 0.1-0.5%. The halogen-free, flame-retardant PET composite material prepared in the present invention has great transparency and great flame retardancy, achieves the requirement of VTM-0 for thin film flame retardation at a thickness of 10 μm, and at the same time, has great toughness and processability.
