Abstract:
Provided is a handover control method for a mobile communication network of a
type in which an IP packet is transmitted and received between an access router
and a base station. The method includes: a step of receiving a handover request
from a mobile station; a step of discarding a packet being retransmitted and a
packet waiting for scheduling, waiting for discarding of a packet waiting for
scheduling and completion of transmission of a packet being retransmitted,
or waiting for completion of transmission of a packet being retransmitted and
a packet waiting for scheduling; and a step of switching a cell.
