Abstract:
This handwriting support device is provided with: a half mirror; an image display surface positioned at a mirror surface side of the half mirror; and a handwriting surface positioned to face the image display surface with the mirror surface of the half mirror interposed therebetween, wherein a virtual image of the image displayed on the image display surface is projected onto the handwriting surface. The handwriting device is provided with an image display control unit which allows a first image to be displayed on the image display surface, and which, when a real object is inserted on the handwriting surface, allows a non-display-processed image of the first image to be displayed on the image display surface, the non-display-processed image being obtained by non-display-processing at least a part of an area corresponding to a vertically projected area of the real object onto the handwriting surface. In the handwriting support device, as a virtual image of the non-display-processed image, an image that becomes non-displayed for only at least a part inside the vertically projected area of the real object is projected onto the handwriting surface.
