Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a haptics pen that minimizes increase in power consumption required to operate a haptics element and is capable of achieving a longer continuous operating time; and a method for generating a haptics control waveform. [Solution] A haptics pen 1 includes an LRA motor 2 that operates in accordance with a reproduced waveform RW. The reproduced waveform RW has: a resonance frequency interval formed by a sinusoidal waveform that oscillates at the resonance frequency of the LRA motor 2; and an interval formed by a waveform that oscillates at one or more frequencies different from the resonance frequency of the LRA motor 2.
