Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a hard-coating film which comprises a thermoplastic film and a hard coat layer superposed thereon, has an excellent surface hardness, and is inhibited from generating an interference pattern, and which when applied to an antireflection film, is effective in diminishing screen glittering, external-light reflection, and coloration unevenness caused by reflected light, without impairing image clarity. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The hard-coating film is characterized in that it comprises a polyester film and, superposed on at least one side thereof, a hard coat layer having irregularities on the surface and at the interface between the polyester film and the hard coat layer and the hard coat layer surface has such three-dimensional surface roughness parameters that the arithmetic average roughness (Sa) is 15-150 nm, excluding 150 nm, and the kurtosis of the surface height distribution (Sku) is 1.5-5.
