Abstract:
The present invention provides a head-mounted display with which it is possible to suppress a support member for supporting a reflection member such as a half mirror from obstructing the field of vision of a user, and to support the reflection member stably. The head-mounted display is provided with a housing 3 having an upper wall 31 and a lower wall 32 facing each other in the vertical direction, an image light formation unit for emitting an image light in the leftward direction, and a half mirror 50 for reflecting the image light, the half mirror 50 reflecting the image light emitted from the image light formation unit to the rear side by a reflection surface 50A. The upper wall 31 has a projection 310 formed extending to both sides in the crosswise direction across the reflection surface 50A of the half mirror 50. The position of the half mirror 50 is determined using the projection 310 as a point of reference. The area of a region of the lower wall that overlaps the half mirror 50 is smaller than the area of a region of the upper wall 31 that overlaps the half mirror 50.
