Abstract:
This head-up display device is provided with: a projector (20) which projects light of a display image; a light guiding part (40) which guides the light of the display image from the projector to a projection member (2); a housing (10) in which an opening (11) is formed, and which houses the projector and the light guiding part, and guides the light of the display image guided through the opening by the light guiding part to the projection member; and a bezel member (60) which includes a bezel polarizing plate (62) disposed on an optical path between the light guiding part and the projection member and having a polarization function, and suppresses the entry of dust into the housing from the opening. The bezel polarizing plate is configured such that the brightness of a p wave of the light of the display image is made higher after than before the light is transmitted through the bezel polarizing plate by polarization.
