Abstract:
A heart rate detection method and apparatus. The method comprises: a light-emitting device (11) emitting single-colour light to be irradiated to a detected object, and a photosensitive device (12) converting received reflected light from the detected object into a frequency signal to be output to a controller (14); the controller (14) performing frequency digitalisation processing on the frequency signal to obtain a digital signal; the controller (14) extracting a direct current level from the digital signal, and driving a constant current source (13) to adjust the brightness of the light-emitting device (11); and the controller (14) performing filtering and heart rate mode recognition processing on the digital signal, and then acquiring a heart rate value of the detected object. The heart rate detection method and apparatus adopt a reflective optical measurement method and adjust the brightness of the light-emitting device (11) using the constant current source (13), thereby reducing the complexity of measurement and improving the accuracy of detection.
