Title:
HEART-RATE VARIABILITY MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND HEART-RATE VARIABILITY MEASUREMENT METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/171472
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a system that enables simplified measurement of heart-rate variability using a compact measurement device. A heart-rate variability measurement system according to the present invention comprises a perspiration detection unit and a signal arithmetic processing unit. The perspiration detection unit comprises: a micro-droplet detection unit in which first fine wires and second fine wires are juxtaposed on an insulating substrate; and a perspiration signal output unit which measures a change in electric property between the first fine wires and the second fine wires and outputs the change as a perspiration signal. The signal arithmetic processing unit has a computation unit, an information storage unit, and a heart-rate variability value output unit. The computation unit calculates Y(t+Δt)=a·X(t)+b and X(t)=CH(t)-CH(t-α), where t represents time, Δt represents a time lag, CH(t) represents the value of a perspiration signal at time t, Y(t+Δt) represents a heart-rate factor indicative of a heart-rate variability at time t+Δt, a and b are coefficients, and α represents a predetermined constant. The information storage unit stores the coefficients a and b and the constant α. The heart-rate variability value output unit outputs the heart-rate factor Y.
