Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a low-cost heat cycle system that can reduce power consumption; an in-wheel motor that is driven by using this heat cycle system; and a vehicle in which this heat cycle system is installed. This heat cycle system 400 is provided with: a compressor 100; an accumulator 501; an electric drive unit 200 comprising an electric motor 210; a refrigerant compressed by the compressor 100; and an indoor heat exchanger 321 and an outdoor heat exchanger 311 responsible for heat exchange of the refrigerant. The heat cycle system 400 comprises a four-way valve 102 that comprises a single circulation path for circulating the refrigerant and that can switch the connection destination of a refrigerant discharge section of the compressor 100 to the indoor heat exchanger 321 or the outdoor heat exchanger 311. A cooling unit 211 of the electric drive unit 210 is arranged upstream of the accumulator 501 in the flow of the refrigerant.
