To extend the length of time until performance decline of a heat exchanger, caused by the adherence of frost to a fin, reaches a limit in a heat exchanger provided with a flat tube and a fin, a plurality of both flat tubes (33) and fins (36) are provided in a heat exchanger (30). The plate-shaped fins (36) are arranged in the extension direction of the flat tubes (33) at a consistent interval from one another. The fins (33) are inserted into tube insertion sections (46) of the fins (36). The section of the fin (36) positioned between vertically adjacent flat tubes (33) is a heat-conducting unit (70). Projecting parts (81-83) and louvers (50, 60) are provided on the heat-conducting unit (70). The projecting parts (81-83) are provided in the windward section of the heat-conducting unit (70), and are formed so as to cause the heat-conducting unit (70) to project in a mountain shape. The louvers (50, 60) are provided in the leeward section of the heat-conducting unit (70), and are formed from a part of the heat-conducting unit.
