Abstract:
Provided are: a heat exchanger having a refrigerant distributor that distributes a refrigerant; and an air conditioner. This heat exchanger has an upper path, a lower path provided below the upper path, and the refrigerant distributor that distributes a refrigerant to the upper path and the lower path. The refrigerant distributor is provided with a header pipe, a distributor, and a connecting pipe that connects the header pipe and the distributor. The header pipe includes an upper side header pipe connected to the upper path and a lower side header pipe connected to the lower path. The connecting pipe includes an upper side connecting pipe that is connected to the upper side header pipe and a lower side connecting pipe that is connected to the lower side header pipe. When the pipe diameter of the upper side header pipe is φDhu, the pipe diameter of the lower side header pipe is φDhl, the pipe diameter of the upper side connecting pipe is φDju, and the pipe diameter of the lower side connecting pipe is φDjl, φDhu > φDju and φDhl > φDjl.
