Abstract:

Provided are a strong heat receiving structure and a heat sink that can ensure sufficient contact area between a heat pipe and a heat receiving member. A heat receiving structure comprises heat receiving blocks (7, 8) that have concave inner faces (7A, 8A) along the exterior (3A) of a heat pipe (3), and for which extended portions (11, 12) on both sides that are continuous with the inner faces (7A, 8A) extend inwardly in the radial direction of the heat pipe (3) and cover the heat pipe (3). The heat pipe (3) is sandwiched from both sides by and joined to the heat receiving blocks (7, 8).
