Title:
HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYESTER-BASED FILM, AND PACKAGE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/029999
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film which has sufficient thermal shrinkage properties in a main shrinkage direction that is the longitudinal direction, has reduced fluctuations in the degree of width-direction shrinkage along the film-width direction, has a small angle of molecular orientation, and is hence less apt to crease or deform upon shrink finishing.
[Solution] A heat-shrinkable polyester-based film characterized by satisfying the following requirements (1) to (4): (1) the degree of hot-water shrinkage in the film main-shrinkage direction through 10-second treatment in 98°C water is 50% or greater; (2) when the film is sampled at intervals of 100 mm along the film width direction and all the samples are treated in 98°C water for 10 seconds to determine the degree of hot-water shrinkage in a direction perpendicular to the film main-shrinkage direction, then the fluctuations are 5% or less; (3) the absolute value of the angle of molecular orientation is 15 degrees or less; and (4) the refractive-index difference shown by the following equation is 0.06 or greater.
Refractive-index difference=(refractive index in main shrinkage direction)-(refractive index in direction perpendicular to main shrinkage direction)
