Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film which has excellent processability even in a low-humidity atmosphere in, e.g., winter and which, when used as a beverage container label, can have improved slip properties on its outer side to prevent beverage vending machines from being clogged with merchandise. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The heat-shrinkable polyester film has a degree of heat shrinkage in the maximum-heat-shrinkage direction of 20% or higher, has a surface resistivity on at least one side of 1×1013 (&/&square ) or lower as measured in an atmosphere of 23°C and a relative humidity of 30%, has a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.24 or lower as measured in an atmosphere of 23°C and a relative humidity of 50%, and has a coefficient of dynamic friction between two areas on at least one side of 0.28 or lower as measured in an atmosphere of 23°C and a relative humidity of 65% after the film is immersed in 80°C water for 20 seconds while allowing the film to thermally shrink by 10% in the main shrinkage direction, subsequently pulled out, and then allowed to dry naturally for 24 hours in an atmosphere of 23°C and a relative humidity of 65%.
