Abstract:
A heat treatment method for a liquid crystal polymer film, comprising, in an air atmosphere, an inert gas atmosphere or a vacuum atmosphere, sequentially performing first heat treatment and second heat treatment on a liquid crystal polymer film. The temperature of the first heat treatment is close to the melting point temperature of the liquid crystal polymer film, the time for the first heat treatment is 0.5 minute to 15 minutes, and the time for the second heat treatment is 1.5 hours to 5 hours. By means of the method, molecular segments of a liquid crystal polymer undergo a polycondensation reaction, and a formed long molecular segment can be arranged onto a lattice, so that the melting point and the coefficient of thermal expansion are significantly increased, and simultaneous directional adjustment of the melting point and the coefficient of thermal expansion is achieved. For a modified liquid crystal polymer film prepared, the melting point is significantly increased, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is increased to be closer to that of a copper foil, thereby facilitating improving high temperature resistance and dimensional stability of a flexible copper clad plate; in addition, the rigidity of the modified liquid crystal polymer film is reduced and the toughness is increased, thereby facilitating improving the performance of the flexible copper clad plate.
