Abstract:
A height measurement system and method can at least partially solve problems in which prior art techniques that measure height by means of image analysis have low accuracy, are infeasible when an image is blocked, and cannot be used conveniently. The height measurement system comprises: an image acquisition unit for acquiring a depth image; a processing unit for performing an analysis to obtain the ground and the top of the head in the depth image and to calculate a distance between the top of the head and a plane where the ground is located as the height.
