Abstract:
This hermetic compressor is provided with a compression mechanism section for compressing a gas medium. The compression mechanism section has: a first discharge valve mechanism for discharging to a first sound deadening chamber a gas medium having been compressed in a first cylinder chamber; a second discharge valve mechanism for discharging to a second sound deadening chamber a gas refrigerant having been compressed in a second cylinder chamber; a third discharge valve mechanism for discharging to a gas passage within an intermediate plate the gas medium having been compressed in the first cylinder chamber; a fourth discharge valve mechanism for discharging to the gas passage the gas medium having been compressed in the second cylinder chamber; a plurality of first flow passages for conducting to the first sound deadening chamber the gas medium having been discharged to the gas passage; and a plurality of second flow passages for conducting to the first sound deadening chamber the gas refrigerant having been discharged to the second sound deadening chamber. At least one of the second flow passages is provided at a position overlapping the first flow passages in the axial direction of a rotating shaft and defines a common flow passage in cooperation with the first flow passages.
