Abstract:
A high-borate borosilicate glass for glass instruments and a manufacturing method. The high-borate borosilicate glass comprises the following raw materials: quartz sand, borax, boric acid, aluminum hydroxide, sodium chloride, calcium oxide, sodium oxide, and polytetrafluoroethylene. The method comprises: weighing and mixing the raw materials followed by heating, refining, homogenizing, and finally cooling and packaging to obtain the high-borate borosilicate glass.
