Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide an audio/video processing method and related devices. The method comprises: a source device receives mode information sent by a host device, wherein the mode information comprises a first identifier used for instructing the source device not to synchronize auxiliary audio data received from an external device; the source device sends the auxiliary audio data which is not synchronized as well as synchronized primary audio data and video data to the host device by means of an HDMI interface. By means of the audio/video data processing method provided in the embodiments, the source device separately sends auxiliary audio data and primary audio data synchronous with video data to the host device, without synchronizing the video data and the auxiliary audio data, so that the host device does not need to synchronize the auxiliary audio data and the video data, thereby reducing the direct sound delay of the auxiliary audio data and effectively ensuring the sound quality of the audio played by the host device.
