Abstract:
This high frequency heating apparatus according to the present disclosure comprises a surface wave line, a power feeding unit, a connection unit, and a matching unit. The surface wave line is for propagating a surface wave. The power feeding unit feeds high frequency electric power to the surface wave line. The connection unit connects the surface wave line and the power feeding unit to each other. The matching unit is provided between the connection unit and a terminal of the surface wave line. The surface wave line has a flow path for the high frequency electric power from the power feeding unit to the terminal of the surface wave line. The matching unit extends in a direction different from a direction in which the flow path for the high frequency electric power extends.
