Abstract:
A maintenance method for maintaining a device equipped with a light source, the method comprising: (a) a step for predicting a maintenance timing for the device on the basis of a change over time in the output of the light source, and/or a use condition of the device; (b) a step for detecting the brightness of light emitted from the light source; and (c) a step for updating the maintenance timing predicted in (a) on the basis of the result of detection in (b).
