Abstract:

A high-frequency treatment device (1) is provided with: an operation wire (12) which has a treatment section (10) including a treatment electrode; a first tube (23) which consists of an insulating material and through which the operation wire (12) capable of extending and retracting the treatment section (10) is inserted; and a second tube (21) which has at the front end thereof a passive electrode (22) and through which the first tube (23) is inserted so as to cover the inner peripheral surface of the passive electrode (22). An engagement section (25) and an engagement-receiving section (22C) which can be engaged with each other are formed on the first tube (23) and the passive electrode (22). The engagement between the engagement section (25) and the engagement-receiving section (22C) prevents the distal section of the first tube (23) from moving to the proximal side of the first tube (23) relative to the passive electrode (22).
