Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-pressure fuel pump which enables the manufacturing costs of machining a pump body to be reduced while also reducing the number of parts. To achieve the foregoing, provided is at high pressure fuel pump comprising: a metal damper 9; a pump body 1 in which a damper accommodation part 1p for accommodating the metal damper 9 is formed; a damper cover 14 that is attached to the pump body 1 and that covers the damper accommodation part 1p and retains the metal damper 9 between the damper cover 14 and the pump body 1; and a retaining member 9a that is fixed to the damper cover 14 and that retains the metal damper from the opposite side of the damper cover 14. An elastic part E, which biases the pump body 1 so as to bias the metal damper 9 toward the damper cover 14, is provided to the retaining member 9a.
