Abstract:

A high-pressure pump capable of preventing a deformation from occurring on a seal surface and a cylinder shape thereof by reducing the initial axial force of tightening bolts, comprising an intermediate member including a cylinder body (4) having a pressuring chamber (14) communicating with a cylinder (4a) for storing a plunger (12), wherein fluid in the pressuring chamber is pressurized by the reciprocating motion of the plunger, the intermediate member is disposed between a cover (6) and a flange (8) and tightened with tightening bolts (40), each tightening bolt comprises an exposed area (40a) exposed from the cover and flange through all the periphery thereof in the axial center area thereof, and either or both of the cover and flange tighten the intermediate member by a bending elastic force.
