Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of magnesium alloys, and in particular to a high-strength cast magnesium alloy, and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The high-strength cast magnesium alloy mainly consists of the following components in percentage by mass: 2.1%-2.5% of Gd, 0.5%-1.0% of Zr, 0.3%-0.6% of Zn, 2.7%-3.1% of Nd, and the balance of Mg and inevitable impurities. According to the present disclosure, alloy components are optimized and adjusted, so that the obtained magnesium alloy has high strength, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and good molding performance. Compared with existing cast magnesium alloys, the porosity casting defect and the segregation tendency are greatly reduced, so that the material selection requirement of a certain casing of an advanced aerospace engine transmission system can be satisfied.
