Abstract:
An aluminum-based composite material, comprising: a base material, the base material comprising the following components in mass percentage: 4.0-7.0% of Cu, 0.4-1.2% of Mg, and 0.1-0.8% of Ag, with the balance being Al; and a reinforcing phase, the reinforcing phase being SiC particles having a volume percentage of 10-40%. The aluminum-based composite material has excellent high temperature resistance and high wear resistance, and a brake disc prepared therefrom can still satisfy a service requirement in a high-temperature environment. The problem that an existing brake disc is easily softened at high temperature and thus cannot be applied to the field of high-speed traffic braking systems is solved.
